SmartAnalyzer Fixes (Last Modified: 2005/04/12)

SmartAnalyzer fixes are generally released as patches to be applied using the AMASPZAP utility. You will find a job stream to use as a wrapper around these patches in the SmartAnalyzer INSTLIB in member MAINTJOB.

Left click on the fix link to view the patch. You can copy and paste the text into your job stream. Alternatively, right click on the fix link to save the text file on your PC. Later, you can transfer it to your host for application.

The following fixes are available for SmartAnalyzer for DMS:

DI010 - Upgrades are provided to reflect the release of SmartProduction V4.2.0. File SD420FIX.ZIP is available here. The unzipped members are in TSO Transmit/Receive format.

HP011 - Reports B1 and D1 are skipping HSM DUMP volumes; eventual volume problems are not identified.

HP013 - An internal table overflow can occur if an installation has a large number of SMS Management or Storage classes. File LINHP013.XMI is available here. The file is in TSO Transmit/Receive format.

HP014 - Reports B1 and D1 are using incorrect data set names on volumes for comparisons; reports may incorrectly flag valid backup and migration volumes.

HP015 - Incorrect comparisons between CA-1 TMS data and HSM data result in invalid entries in the B1 and D2 reports. File LINK0501.ZIP is available here. The unzipped file is in TSO Transmit/Receive format.
